I am so friggin' hot I can barely stand it. Today was our first hot & humid day. :P We don't have central air, and my dad hasn't put the window units in yet. So now I am sticky and gross. I will be taking a cool shower soon.

Ryan & I signed our Agreement of Sale papers for the house today. Another step towards getting it built. I got to pick out the kitchen cabinets & counter tops, and the marble top in the master bath. It's very exciting. :D

I just remembered I have to stay 2 hours late at work this week, Monday-Wednesday. The manager that DIDN'T hire me wants me to help work on a project. I should tell her to fuck off. :P

I just watched Angelina Jolie on Inside The Actor's Studio. I know they cut a lot out of it, but it was still wonderful. She's so honest. :) It was nice hearing her talk about her film roles and how she prepares for a movie.

Anyway...

Oh my...I was having the most INSANE dreams about Jonathan Rhys Meyers* last night...I can't even describe them for the most part...all I know is that I kept making out with him like hardcore and it was SO hot. And it was like Velvet Goldmine Jonny...sigh...

Do dreams really come true? ;)

I'm attempting to make a list of goals for myself.

-Lose at least 30 lbs.
-get a decent tan
-pay off at least one (or two) credit cards
-get a new job

That's for now. I'd like to have them mostly accomplished by the end of summer. End of August? Possibly. I could be halfway there by then.

I need new summer shoes and clothes. All my sandals are falling apart. I really want a pair of black pinstriped capri pants.

Have I mentioned I hate my job? *throws stuff*

Ooh, I forgot to mention that my best friend Jenna* set a date for her wedding! May 20, 2006. I'm so excited for her! She is working so hard on it and I know it's going to be a beautiful event. And lucky her is going to Australia* on her honeymoon! :D

Oh Lawd I had a traumatic experience driving into work today.

I hit a BIRD. A robin, to be exact. :O

The little sucker dive-bombed right in front of my car and got sucked under the wheel. I heard a *thump* and then feathers flew everywhere. I looked in my side view mirror and saw the poor little thing rolling down the road.

OK, quick weekend rundown. I'm so tired right now I can barely put a sentence together. :P

Friday was our trip to Atlantic City for the Billy Idol* show. We went with Ryan's sister-in-law's sister (make sense?) and her husband. This was the first time we had been to the Borgata and I was really impressed. I felt like I was in Vegas*. Anyway, Tina & I walked into the Event Center, got a glass of wine, then walked into the concert hall and 10 minutes later the show started. Nice. :) Billy was awesome! cherry_divinity you were right...his body is RIPPED! Totally hot. Steve Stevens was rippin' it up too. They played for 2 hours and did all the great songs..."White Wedding", "Rebel Yell", "Eyes Without a Face", "Flesh for Fantasy", "Sweet Sixteen", "Hot In the City"...plus he did a cover of "Who Are You" and "Heartbreak Hotel." I loved it. :) After the show we met up with the guys and went into a club in the hotel called The Mixx, which was fun. We got home around 2am, Ryan & I had some HOT sex :X and crashed.

Saturday afternoon we went to Ryan's nephew's first b-day party (WHY does a child's first b-day need a DJ and buffett?!) and that night we went to see Star Wars Episode III. I LOVED it. And can I say, Hayden Christensen is so unbelieveably HOT...Ugh, I was drooling all over the place. He's got those hot pouty lips. *drools* Overall though I really enjoyed the movie. It answers all the Star Wars questions.

Yesterday was a family bbq at my house, and today I FINALLY did some cleaning and we had more family over for MORE food. Sheesh. I did good though, I didn't overeat. *sigh*

Anyway, that's about it. Now I'm beat. :P

Is it weird I'm more looking forward to seeing Steve Stevens than Billy Idol? I've always dug him. His hair was so wicked back in the day. ;)

Tommorrow Ryan* & I are going to his nephew's 1st b-day party, and on Sunday my family is having a cook out. Thankfully the weather will be much improved. :)

What an annoying evening I've had.

I had to go to the doctor's for a simple check up. Actually I had to get a prescription renewed but they wouldn't do it unless I had a visit with the doctor. Whatever.

My appointment was for 5:30. I didn't get into the exam room until 7 PM. This was after I went and complained to the nurse at the reception window, AND after I had been skipped over on the patient list.

I was done with the doctor in about 10 minutes. AFTER stepping on the scale and finding out how much I weigh. I'm not even going to say what it is because I'm embarrassed and disgusted. I need to lose at LEAST 30 pounds. No joke.

It's now 9:30 and I'm just eating Chinese Food. :S

OK, now I heard that Tom Cruise is bashing Brooke Shields, of all people.

I can't get to the article, but I guess he was slamming her for taking anti-depressants instead of seeking more holistic therapy, as I guess Scientologists such as himself would do. I feel bad for Brooke because apparently she suffered some horrible post-pardum depression, so bad she wanted to harm her child. This is something quite a few women go through and she is just bringing attention to it. WTF? Who is he to diagnose her? I am starting to dislike him more and more. Is he going through like a mid-life mental crisis or something? Ugh.

Why do photos/TV clips of Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes just make me want to VOMIT? He is slobbering all over her and it's really gross. Supposedly on Oprah he was jumping all over the chairs exclaiming how crazy he was over Katie. Ugh. Good for them if they're all happy and stuff, but sheesh.

Lord I feel like crap.

I really wish I was home in bed right now and not sitting at my desk.

My head is SO congested, and my nose is bright red from blowing it all night last night. I look like I was run over by a truck. :P My hair is gross as well. It has like no shape to it. I'm growing it out but it's driving me up the wall.

At least it's quiet in here today.

As you all know, the U2 show was last night.

UNBELIEVABLE.

I had such a fantastic time and left the venue in complete awe. Every song sounded perfect, the crowd sang SO loud, and the stage and lighting were amazing. BONO...my God. I am so impressed with his talent, his sense of humor, his stage presence...his humanity.

I was brought to tears several times during the show. The first, at the end of "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own". Even though I know Bono has sang this song dozens of times, you can still feel how it breaks his heart and how he misses his father.

At the end of "Running To Stand Still" they show the Declaration of Human Rights, which brought me to tears as well. More out of anger, because I know those Rights are still being violated in this world every day. Tears also came during "Pride (in the name of Love)" and "One".

Some of my fave moments/songs were "Elevation" (the crowd was loudly singing "Wooo hooo, wooooo hoooooo" and Bono smiled and said, "That's Philadelphia for you!"), "Sunday Bloody Sunday", and "The Fly", which felt like I was watching the ZOO TV tour.

One lucky girl in the front row was pulled up on stage by Bono during "Mysterious Ways" and danced with him, and then stayed up there as they went into "With or Without You" (which apparently they've only played once earlier on the tour), when he held her and sang to her. Damn lucky girl. ;)
